Curbing The Rise Of MCO-V(22/4/2020)CURBING THE RISE OF MCO-VStory: Dragon Visual: Majlis Keselamatan Negara Despite the steady decline of COVID-19 infections in Malaysia thanks to the Movement Control Order (MCO), another disease has been rearing its ugly head - the MCO Violators (MCO-V) disease - among stubborn, selfish and nonchalant Malaysians. 1,111 arrests were made yesterday as opposed to just 59 new COVID-19 cases registered, making the total number of MCO violators at 16,870 against the total number of COVID-19 cases which stood at 5,482 yesterday. To cope with this surge, the government has already gazetted 11 new prisons which start operating from 23rd April 2020. If the new MCO-V infection keeps up, there will be more people in detention than in hospital or quarantine. The nation's resources is severely being drained by the couldn't be bothered attitudes of these ugly Malaysians. Funds that are severely needed for healing the sick, caring for the nation and reviving the economy is now being diverted unnecessarily to control this new human conjured disease. COVID-19 may have been thrust upon us out of the blue, but our nation and its people seem to have been plagued by indifference long before that. Before we can cure a pandemic, we need to cure the sickness in our heads. - The Editor, Rentak Sejuta. #MCO #StayHome #FightCovid19 #StopMCOViolations #MKN #KKM #RentakSejuta
