Cass Ho Jai Wei, a 26-year-old administrator, was crowned Miss Malaysia Global United 2019, while Janice Giam, a 39-year-old sales executive, was crowned Mrs Malaysia Global United 2019, at the Malaysia Global United Pageant (MGUP) 2019 Grand Finals, which was held at the classy Vantage Ballroom @ Vangohh Eminent Premier Hotel, in Bukit Mertajam, last Sunday night. Cass also took home the Miss Congeniality and Best National Costume (Miss) subsidiary titles while Janice walked away with the People's Choice and Photogenic Award subsidiary titles. . Both of the main title winners will represent Malaysia at the world finals of the prestigious international pageant later this year.

Taking the Miss Malaysia Global United Cosmopolitan 2019 title was 19-year-old college student Winnie Ng Hui Wen, while 38-year-old financial planner Sherrie Wong, won the Mrs Malaysia Global United Cosmopolitan 2019 title.

The Miss Teen Malaysia Global United 2019 title went to 14-year-old secondary school student Sharmaine Chang. On the other end of the spectrum, Catherine Yeap, a 44-year-old account manager & Zumba instructor was declared Classic Mrs Malaysia Global United 2019, with Tracy Tan, a 52-year-old marketing professional being honoured with the Malaysia Global United 2019 Charity Queen title.

The winners were selected by a panel of esteemed judges that included Ng Kai Beng, founder & principal of K&T Dance Academy, Rainb Lim, managing director of Rainnb Ragazzo Group, Mrs Singapore Malays International 2015 Linda Ma'arof, Mrs Asia International Global Katherine Ang, MGUP 2019 Goodwill Ambassador Lyndda Go Z-Lynn, Mrs Borneo Beauty Queen International 2017 Meika Gow, EWE International Timeless Beauty Ambassador Cissy B. Khor, Mrs Malaysia United Nations Corryn Teoh, Asian International Tourism Pageant 2018 Overall Champion Livian Oo, Global All Nation Pageant Ambassador Yen Toh, Classic Mrs MGUP 2017 Universal Janet Wong Lee Yen, Zenpro Bumi founder & Boutiquinn director Zen Ng, Mrs MGUP 2017 Best Talent & Most Popular Photogenic Winner Jovin Ooi, Make Up & Styling Director Mabel Lim, Miss Belly Dance Malaysia Zoe Liting, Fresh Beat Rockers founder Soo Jia Yong and Malaysia & Thailand Dancesport Championship Winner Sara Lim.







The glamorous pageant which saw a total of 32 finalists competing in four categories, was organised by Dare 2 Dream and K&T Dance Academy, under the stewardship of its national director Tracie Chan and organising vice-chairman Ng Kai Beng. It also managed to raise RM 53,000 in funds for various charity organisations that included Persatuan Sahabat Kanak Kanak Kanser Wilayah Utara, Penang Hospice Society, Persatuan Dermawan Jishan Bukit Mertajam and Pertubuhan Bakti Fo En Kulim.

Its strategic partners included Super Shape, Lions Club of Tanjung Star, Reunion Restaurant, Coryn Beauty Academy, K&O and Zero AdsFees.
