AGAPE ATP'S DATO’ SRI DR HOW KOK CHOON TAKES UP CONTROLLING STAKE IN REDBOY PICTURES

Serial entrepreneur Dr How is the main investor in Redboy Pictures, after recently acquiring a 55% stake in the upstart film production company formed by founders film producer Aaron Lim and Chief Operating Officer Leena Lim, and co-founder Dato' Teoh Seow Chiew. C144, their very first full-length English language feature film which is targeted at international audiences, is set to hit silver screens around the world at the end of the year in conjunction with the listing of Agape ATP on the New York Stock Exchange. Also confidently taking up a 5% stake in Redboy Pictures was D'Swiss Beauty's Founder & CEO Vincent Leong, whose company is a world leader in premier nutraceutical biotechnology.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Jack Wong, the ambitious film which features a mixed multi-racial local and international cast, is 90% complete. It was expected to be released late last year but production delays, logistical difficulties and financial constraints had pushed the release date to later this year, as the dedicated and passionate "never say die" filmmakers did not want to compromise on the quality and production values of their very first major release. This driven and relentless nature of the filmmakers is what excited and drove Dr How to place his faith and investment in Redboy Pictures. With his support, guidance and vision, a re-energised Redboy Pictures is already back on track and in position to be a major player in the industry in the very near future, with multiple productions already in the pipeline.
