Nur Ashikeen, a 26 year old from Selangor was crowned Wheelchair Queen Malaysia 2018, at the grand finals of the unique and highly empowering pageant which was held at the Star Light Arena in Plaza 51, Petaling Jaya, last night.
Despite her different ability, the inspiring and proud young lady beat 11 other equally talented finalists to emerge victorious in the pageant which honoured contestants who are wheelchair bound, She and the rest of the finalists proved that they are no less capable than everyone else around them, and are able to achieve whatever that is set in their hearts and minds.
For her achievement, the proud and delighted Ashikeen, rolled away with the title crown, sash, trophy and various other prizes including an exquisite baguette precious ruby with round brilliant diamond 18K W/G ring worth RM 20,000 from Ceres Jewels.
The winners of the pageant were selected by a panel of judges made up of industry professionals and beauty queens which included international brand builder CT Chin, certified NLP coach and hypnotist Jacky Chan, dance instructor & Mrs Global United 2016 Tracie Chan, fashion designer & Syg Batique founder Gee and Richmond Luxury Group's Catz Carrera Hakim, among many others.
The well received pageant, was organised by Harry International Talents, which was headed by #BarniKumar , and its national pageant director #SangeethaVeloo.
