Barbie LIVE! The Musical Cast Appearance & Meet The Fans Session @ Sunway Pyramid (26/10/13).

The cast of Barbie LIVE! The Musical made a special live appearance at the concourse of Sunway Pyramid last Saturday, for a special meet and greet, and promotional session, ahead of their live shows which will be on from today until Sunday (29/10/13 - 3/11/13) at The Amphitheatre in Sunway Lagoon. The thrill of seeing every girl's favourite doll "Barbie" live in person certainly saw many young fans (and their mums), all decked in various Barbie styled outfits and official merchandise, turning up to catch their idol and sharing a special pre-arranged photo session with the cast.
As a treat, the young fans and gathered audience were also given a taste of what to expect during the musical which will make its first appearance in Malaysia, as Barbie, who is played by Chelsea Rae Bernier, and her friends, rendered two songs from the upcoming show. Also making his appearance at the event was director and choreographer Kobi Rozenfeld, who has previously worked with pop star Beyonce on her ‘I Am’ world tour.
Barbie LIVE! is an all-new dance-inspired musical production filled with contemporary and energetic song and dance which is set on a Hollywood soundstage, which has Barbie shooting her latest film with her best friend and co-star Teresa. When Teresa doubts herself, Barbie uses the lessons learned from her Princess movies - - Swan Lake, Princess and the Popstar, and Mariposa & The Fairy Princess - to teach her best friend to be brave, believe in herself, and embrace the power of true friendship. This feel-good musical promises an all-singing, all-dancing spectacle for all ages that will feature more than 260 costumes and innumerable other wigs, accessories and shoes.
Barbie, the most recognisable doll in the world has been around for more than 54 years and is an icon for every young girl all over the world.
