Subculture "365 Days Of Punk Rock" Album Launch @ Hard Rock Cafe KL (29/4/13)KEEPING PUNK ROCK HONEST FOR 21 YEARSStory & Photos: DragonMeor, Azreen, Kabin & Fao keeping Subculture musically honest. The heavyweights of Malaysian punk rock - Subculture - launched their very first album since their return to the industry in 2009, this afternoon at the Hard Rock Cafe in Kuala Lumpur. The ten track bilingual "365 Days Of Punk Rock" is the band's fourth album in their illustrious 21 year history in the underground music scene in Malaysia. The current line up may be re-minted with just lead singer cum second guitarist Azreen being the only founding member remaining, but the music continues to be as honest as always has been for the iconic punk rock propagators. The self produced album under their own Fun Friends label which took nearly three years in the making, is distributed by Life Records Malaysia and sponsored by Menuetto Music Malaysia and Dr Martens Malaysia. "365 Days Of Punk Rock" which signifies the conclusion of the band's entire colorful journey since their debut album "Love N' Hate" in 1994, hopes to offer true definition of their music through their struggles which highlights their close friendship, independence, survival and honesty as the main recipe for their longevity. Their new release is also considered unique as it offers five Malay and five English tracks and is a birthday gift to their fans, as a celebration of their 21 years in the music industry.
