CHINESE EDITION OF AIM RETURNS AFTER 12 YEARS

Artistes, sponsors and organisers come together in full support of Chinese AIM.
The Chinese edition of Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) was officially launched at a well received press conference which was held at the spanking new Vivatel Hotel, at Viva Home in Kuala Lumpur, yesterday afternoon. Organised by the Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM), the Chinese music industry awards which has been absent for a period of 12 years, returns to the fold, with the full support of the Ministry of Information, Communication & Culture via the Malaysian Government's National Creative Industry Policy, in order to honour the talents and contributors within the local Chinese language music industry. The prestigious event which takes place on 6th July 2013 at the Plenary Hall in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, will see 18 awards being offered. All Chinese language songs that were released in Malaysia by RIM members, from 1st January 2011 to 31st December 2012 are eligible to be nominated, with submissions open from Wednesday 9th January 2013 until 5.00pm on 15th March, 2013. The relevant nomination forms will be issued to RIM members.
