INAUGURAL NATIONAL KEBAYA PAGEANT OFF TO A PROMISING START

A selection of hopefuls who turned up for the soft audition.
The inaugural nationwide cultural & tourism based Miss Malaysia Kebaya 2011 kicked off to a promising start at its very first soft auditions, held at Insight, in Dataran Mentari, Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, yesterday. The turn up made off a shortlist of Facebook entrants, demonstrated the multi ethnic diversity of the contestants, who were composed of Malays, Chinese, Indians and East Malaysians, and bode well for the competition that expects to promote the spirit of a united Malaysia and showcase its collective cultures, under the spearhead of our national costume "The Kebaya".
