Indie Aid Japan @ Laundry Bar (5/5/11)REGIONAL & LOCAL INDIE ACTS SPRING INTO ACTION FOR JAPANStory & Photos: Dragon & AnastasiaMake no mistake, they honestly do care.Indie music acts certainly do understand hardship. After all many of them have had to struggle to survive for so long in the name of their art. That's why it was no surprise when more than 15 local and regional acts banded together last Thursday at the Laundry Bar in The Curve, strongly intent on raising as much funds as possible for the victims of earthquake-tsunami devastated Japan, many of whom have lost their homes, livelihoods and loved ones. Thanks to collaborative efforts of event organisers - multi restaurant operator Chaswood Resources, international marketing & media agency Saintz & Sinnerz and event promoters Moonshine, and the contributing acts themselves, close to RM10,000 was raised to help those in need in Japan. Full story & complete pics coming up.
