Who DESERVES to win Showdown 2010?
It's the Final Showdown as the top the 3 crews battle it out to be Malaysia's favourite dance crews. All 3 crews are simply terrific with each of them having an equal chance of winning this competition, and it looks set that the final decision will go down to the wire. But we at Rentak Sejuta would like a head's up on what our viewers think about the top 3 crews and would like to know who they feel DESERVES to win the title.
We would also like to hear fan comments about their favourites and why they chose them over others.
This is the final run and its the last chance to influence the fence sitters, so fans make your comments count.
Please not that this poll has NO direct effect on the SMS Votes, so you still need to vote via SMS for your favourite crews.
If you still don't know who the crews are:
Floor Fever (FF)
Floor Fever are probably the finest commercial dance crew in the country and their services are often sought after by celebrities & show organisers They are tight, polished and highly synchronised in their routines. Their performances have been near flawless every week and they are always bursting with energy. Made up of 4 males & 3 females, they are armed with a wide arsenal of styles to draw from. As a team of perfectionists, they are the complete package.
Cons: Routines draw too much from MTV & YouTube and are easily forgetable. Lack of audience interaction. Highly dependent on routines for battles.
Giller Battle Crew (GBC)
Giller Battle are full on street brawlers and are the real deal when it comes to B-Boy battling. They are sharp, athletic & powerful, and are second to none in Malaysia when it comes to battles. Everything is laid bare on the floor and they don't make excuses when it comes to their art. Their fierceness and take no prisoners attitude is often mistaken for arrogance. The seven testosterone loaded all male crew go for the jugular in every competition and are fearless. The have the B-Boy soul like no other.
Cons: Lack of dance versatility but are improving. Tardiness.
Wakaka (WKK)
Wakaka are definitely the most original, versatile, intelligent & artistic B-Boy dance crew in the country, and are regarded as Malaysia's 1st Lyrical B-Boy Crew. Their performances are often full of creativity, complexity, drama & excitement, and is always highly entertaining. They are adventurous risk takers and are full of surprises. Although they are a seven member all male crew, they have the ability to mutate into "females" when required. Their never say die attitude, and great respect for dance as a form of expression & beauty, will augur well for them among dance fans.
Cons: A tendency to be too theatrical at the expense of dancing.
