RIM Charts Top 10 Domestic - Week 23 (2/6/17 -8/6/17)
HAQIEM RUSLI'S "TERGANTUNG SEPI" JUMPS TO THE TOP SPOT WITH 95K PLAYS LAST WEEK!
Charts: Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM) Presented By: Dragon
FMC Music's 18 year old signing Ridzuan Haqiem Rusli leaps to the top spot with 95,099 plays last week for "Tergantung Sepi" dethroning fellow label mate Wany Hasrita's "Menahan Rindu" which has been on the charts for 19 weeks. Haqiem's "Segalanya" is also simultaneously charting in 6th with 56,998 plays and has remained on the charts for a good 36 weeks, with FMC Music leading the label race with 4 tracks staying put on the charts last week. Charging into the charts last week are Irfan Haris' "Pesan" from Indigital and Projector Band's "Aisyah" from Mapmusic, in 7th and 8th respectively. Interestingly "Pesan" was composed by Haqiem Rusli, with lyrics by Haqiem, Irfan and Ippo Hafiz. Despite his tender age, Haqiem is definitely making quite an impact in the music industry and looks set to dominate the charts for the rest of the year.
To make space for the new tracks, it was the end for Atmosfera's "Berakhir Sudah", as it exited the charts after just 12 weeks. It was also the exit for Tajul's "Sedalam-Dalam Rindu" after having a good run of 29 weeks on the charts.
