SKRILLEX TO PERFORM FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MALAYSIA
The Grammy Award winning electronic music producer is set to make his Malaysian debut at KL LIVE on September 23rd 2015.
Fans can finally breathe easy as one of the best in electronic dance music, Skrillex, is finally making his way to Malaysia for the first time for an exclusive show on September 23 at KL LIVE. Organized by The Livescape Group, the one-night-only show headlined by the multiple-Grammy Award and MTV Video Music Award recipient is expected to attract over 2,500 fans.
Sonny Moore, better known by his stage name, Skrillex, is one of the world’s biggest names in electronic dance music that shot to fame in 2011. He is also one half of the electronic duo, Jack U, which he collaborates with Diplo. Their latest single, Where Are Ü Now, features Justin Bieber, and is currently conquering top spots of music charts globally.
“We are thrilled to have Skrillex perform live in Malaysia for the first time in his career and we are sure that the fans will be excited as we are as well. As one of the world’s biggest names in music, fans can come to expect a world-class show with world-class production, and I’m sure Skrillex will play a selection of both his older hits as well as some new sounds. Tickets to the show are extremely limited as we are wanting to provide an intimate show, so I urge fans to purchase them early to avoid disappointment”, Rahul Kukreja, Director of Live Events of The Livescape Group said.
The talented artiste plays mostly dubstep, EDM, and electro house but is also known to experiment with other genres in electronic music, producing new sounds and challenging himself to be creative and innovative. Best known for his single Bangarang, Skrillex is a multi-platinum selling artiste and have also been the recipient of the Grammy’s Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronica Album.
