Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal In Concert - Lead Guitarist Of Guns N' Roses @ Tun Ahmad Raffae Auditorium, Yayasan Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (26/4/16)

Current Guns N Roses co-lead guitarist, Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal, will be performing at a concert in Kota Kinabalu this coming 26th April 2015 at 8:00pm. The free concert, 'RON BUMBLEFOOT THAL IN CONCERT KOTA KINABALU', will be held at the Tun Ahmad Raffae Auditorium and up to 1,300 seats are up for grabs for free.
Jointly organised by the US Embassy and the Society of Performing Arts Kota Kinabalu Sabah (SPArKS), Thal is regarded as one of the most talented Rock guitarist in America. Apart from a guitarist, Thal is also a songwriter, a solo recording artist and a producer. He has numerous albums under his guitar and his latest album, 'Little Brother Is Watching' is his tenth studio album released earlier this year. This concert will be his second time in Kota Kinabalu with his first one back in November 2013.
Thal joined Guns N' Roses in 2006, filling the position vacated by guitarist Buckethead. 'It will be a great experience for the public to see one of the many talents the United States has to offer' said Arthur E. Lee, the vice president of the Society of Performing Arts Kota Kinabalu Sabah. Earlier on the same day of the concert, Bumblefoot will be visiting the Hospital Wanita dan Kanak-Kanak Sabah. He will be performing a few songs for the hospital staffs and patients.

Bumblefoot is currently finishing his next album "Little Brother Is Watching", aiming for February 2015 release.
Bumblefoot has collaborated as a songwriter/producer with many artists, his music often heard in TV, film and videogames including theme songs to VH1's "That Metal Show" and SpikeTV's "MXC", So You Think You Can Dance, Oprah Winfrey, ESPN, UFC, WWE, NFL, dozens of MTV/VH1 shows and more. Bumblefoot is often invited as a guest to perform with other artists, the list includes Joe Satriani, Nancy Sinatra, Blue Oyster Cult, Chris Jericho, Cyndi Lauper, jazz artist Allen Toussaint, members of Badfinger, Paul McCartney & Wings, and on diverse recordings including Jessica Simpson, rapper Scarface, members of Dream Theater, comedian Don Jamieson and many more.
Studying music since age 7, he began teaching at age 13 and for the last 10 years has taught music production at SUNY Purchase College. He teaches master-classes at schools and venues around the world, and has been a guest music coach on MTV's "Made". Bumblefoot is continuously donating songs and performances to fundraising CDs, often making appearances and donating autographed items for charities. He has performed at events for the Red Cross, Navy Seals, juvenile diabetes, Operation Smile, men's & women's health issues, burn victims, The Grammy Foundation, Rays Of Sunshine, Music Rising “Icons of Music” for victims of Hurricane Katrina, Oxfam's Tsunami Relief & Global Emergency Fund, Earthquake Relief Fund, Humanitarian Water & Food Award, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Little Kids Rock and Rock Asylum for children's education, Dubai Autism Centre, NGO Wildlife Trust of India, a board member of the MS Research Foundation, spokesperson for iRock2Live providing schools with programs against bullying, texting while driving and obesity, a member of “Musicians On Call” and visits orphanages and children's hospitals all over the world with guitar in hand.
In 2013 Bumblefoot began working as a Cultural Envoy with U.S. Embassies around the world on programs to extend cultural diplomacy through music. He released his own line of award-winning hot sauces bit.ly/bbfsauce and custom guitar cases bit.ly/bbfguitarcase. Upcoming plans include signature acoustic guitars, a Bumblefoot comic book series, a line of "BumbleBabe" merch, and the creation of an international music festival.
